About the Event
Is your horse's diet improving his health or harming it? Diet affects all aspects of your horse's physical and emotional well-being. As a horse owner, you need to know if your horse's diet is providing adequate nutrition. You also need to know how to avoid ingredients that cause disease, create discomfort, and reduce your horse's longevity.
Spend an evening learning and geeking out with Certified Equine Nutritionist, Dale Rudin. She has successfully resolved physical and emotional problems horses and humans struggle by making positive changes to the diet. Get the scoop on pasture, hay, and commercial feed. You'll learn how to read feed labels and what ingredients you need to avoid. We'll also discuss the benefits of forage-based anti-inflammatory diets, how to choose supplements, and more. This class will give you the knowledge you need to make informed decisions about your horse's nutrtion.
Got nutrition questions? Ask them at the Q&A at the end of the class.
Bring a comfy chair, snacks, and a notepad! We'll be indoors, so no worries about weather.
All proceeds support Volunteer Equine Advocates Horse Rescue and Pure Joy Horse Haven Sanctuary, Wellness, and Education
