About the Event

Proper saddle fit is SO important for you and your horse.  Your saddle's job is to protect your horse while it gives you support and helps you maintain your balance.  Your balance and position influences your ability to communicate with your horse clearly.  It also affects your horse's ability to move comfortably, athletically, and respond correctly to your cues.  If your horse is wearing a saddle that is unstable, too narrow, too wide, or too long, it can cause pain, bone, muscle, and nerve damage.

Join us for this two-hour practical guide to saddle fitting.  You will learn how to fit a saddle, how to measure your horse, and how to be sure the saddle you're riding in is right for you.  Your host is evidence-based trainer, Certified Horsemanship Association certified instructor, and equine rehab specialist, Dale Rudin.  She is passionate about making sure every horse has a well-fitting saddle because she has seen the benefits as well as the harm poor fitting saddles can cause.  Dale will cover the anatomy of the equine spine, English and Western saddles, and everything in between.  Register before 11:00pm on the day of the class to receive your Zoom link for this event.  $45
